Viral feta egg but make it heart healthy! Switch up your breakfast routine with this delicious balanced wrap. Try the recipe below, hope you enjoy ❤️
recipe (makes 1 serving):
- place a frying pan over medium-high heat
- add 2 tbsp of non fat feta in a 6” flat donut shaped circle on the pan
- cook feta for ~5 minutes and then crack an egg in the middle of the feta circle and cook for another ~3-5 mins until egg is cooked overeasy
- add 1 pinch of black pepper, 1 pinch of red pepper flakes, and a few drops of hot sauce to season the egg
- place onto a small tortilla (I used a 8” almond flour tortilla from trader joe’s) and top with 1 small handful of arugula
- fold tortilla in half to make a taco shape, and enjoy!
